Acceptable Use Policy

# Acceptable Use Policy

Polysh turns screen recordings into narrated videos and guides that teams share widely. This policy keeps that safe for you, the people in your recordings, and everyone who watches them.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy is part of our [Terms of Service](https://polysh.io/terms/). It applies to everyone who uses Polysh, including workspace members, guests on share links, and agents acting for a user. Workspace admins are responsible for their members' use.

## 1. Content you may not add or create

Don't record, upload, generate, or share content that:

- is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers children, or is sexually explicit;
- harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes violence or hatred against people based on a protected characteristic;
- infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights, including recording software or content you aren't allowed to share;
- contains personal data, passwords, payment details, health records, or other sensitive information that you aren't permitted to process or share;
- is deceptive, such as phishing pages, fake product demos meant to defraud, or tutorials for scams;
- contains malware or links to it.

## 2. Voices, people, and impersonation

- Don't use Polysh to imitate a real person's voice or identity, or to make it appear someone said something they didn't, without that person's documented permission.
- Don't present synthetic narration as a real person speaking where that would mislead viewers.
- Get consent from anyone whose face, voice, or personal details appear in a recording before you upload or share it.

## 3. Security and abuse of the service

Don't:

- access accounts, workspaces, or share links you aren't authorized to use, or share your sign-in with others;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission, other than reporting issues responsibly as described on our [security page](https://polysh.io/security/);
- interfere with or overload the Service, bypass rate limits, credit checks, or other limits, or use it to send spam;
- scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our agreement;
- use the Service in violation of export controls or sanctions.

## 4. Agents and automation

When an AI agent or script uses Polysh for you, you're responsible for what it does. Use only your own test accounts and environments when an agent records a product, keep credentials out of recordings, and make sure the agent asks you before it spends credits or uses tools marked as destructive.

## 5. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe content or activity breaks this policy, we may remove or disable the content, reset or disable share links, suspend processing, or suspend or close the account or workspace. Where we can, we'll tell the workspace admin and give a chance to fix the problem first. We may report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires.

## 6. Reporting a problem

To report content on a Polysh share link, a copyright claim, or other misuse, write to <argo@polysh.io> with the link, what the problem is, and how to reach you. For copyright claims, include the work you own, where it appears, and a statement that you're authorized to act for the owner.
