FROM KNOWING IT TO SHOWING IT

# Record. Refine. Ready to share.

01 · CAPTURE

## Do the task. Explain the thinking.

Record one complete workflow: where it starts, what changes, and how you know it worked. Add microphone narration, or start from an existing recording.

- Choose a screen, window, or browser tab.
- Show a useful outcome, rather than a tour of every menu.
- The recording becomes the source for your project.

02 · REFINE

## Keep the good parts. Make the words clearer.

Review what was said and edit the narration you want someone to hear. Trim the timeline, remove distracting pauses, and focus attention with click zooms.

- Check product names and on-screen instructions.
- Use your team word list for important terminology.
- Choose the style and narration voice for the explanation.

03 · CREATE

## Make it watchable. Make it followable.

Choose the output your audience needs. Export the narrated video, create a step-by-step guide, or make both from the same project.

- Video: an MP4 with narration and subtitle files.
- Guide: editable steps, screenshots, and expected results.
- Review the guide draft and download it as a PDF.

04 · DELIVER

## Get the right version to the right people.

Share the specific video or guide with a focused link. For another audience, review a translated script and make an available language version from the same recording.

- Invite viewers, and guide editors when you need a review.
- Control link access, downloading, and optional expiry.
- Use downloadable files in the channels you already work with.

A FEW DETAILS

## Good questions. Clear answers.

**Do I need a perfect recording?**

No. Start with a walkthrough that captures the real task. You can refine the script and timeline in the workspace before making the outputs.

**Do I have to make a video and a guide?**

No. Choose videos, guides, or both. The guide can be generated without a video export when the readable reference is all you need.

**Can I keep updating the explanation?**

Yes. Review and edit the project’s scripts, timeline, and guide content. Export a new video or remake a guide when the workflow changes. Remaking a guide replaces its existing edits, so review that action first.

**How do I get started?**

Polysh workspaces are available by team invitation. Request access or ask your organization administrator for an invitation.
