FOR SUPPORT TEAMS

# Give a repeated question a reusable answer.

Some answers are easier to show. Record the fix once, polish the explanation, and share a video or screenshot guide the customer can follow at their own pace.

One recording. A narrated video, a readable guide, or both.

TROUBLESHOOTING WALKTHROUGHVIDEO + GUIDE

## Fix a missing report filter

Report settings

Filters Date range Saved reports

1. 01
**Name the symptom** The report shows records outside the expected range.

2. 02
**Show the fix** Open Filters and apply the correct date selection.

3. 03
**Verify the result** Check the report now shows the intended records.

*Illustrative workflow. Sample content, not a product screenshot.*

A BETTER HANDOFF

## A paragraph can leave room for another question.

“Open settings and change the filter” makes sense to someone who knows the product. Customers need the right screen, the right action, and a way to check that the fix worked.

BEFORE

### The same explanation, typed again.

Each reply starts from scratch. A missing screenshot or an ambiguous label sends the conversation back for another round.

WITH POLYSH

### An answer they can see and follow.

A short video shows the fix in context. The guide gives the customer the exact steps and a result to check.

THE WORKFLOW

## Turn the next good explanation into a reference.

1. 01
  ### Capture the problem in a safe example
Use a sample account to reproduce the issue. Show the starting state without exposing customer data.

2. 02
  ### Explain the fix and the check
Keep the narration focused on the symptom, the action, and the expected result. Review the script and screenshots before sharing.

3. 03
  ### Send the right format in your reply
Share a link to the exported video or guide. Use invited access for material intended for a specific customer.

GOOD TO KNOW

## A few practical questions.

About using Polysh for customer support.

**Does Polysh send replies from our help desk?**

Polysh creates and shares the video or guide. You can include its link in your normal support reply; this page does not describe a help-desk integration.

**Should I record a real customer account?**

Use a sample workspace when possible. Review all narration and screenshots for private information before you export or share the answer.

**What happens when the product screen changes?**

Record the updated workflow and review the new output. A link to an exported video points to that exact export, so share the new export when you replace the video.
