FOR PRODUCT MARKETING

# Give your next feature a proper introduction.

Turn a screen recording into a product demo that gets to the point. Show the change, explain why it matters, and leave a guide people can follow when they try it themselves.

One recording. A narrated video, a readable guide, or both.

FEATURE WALKTHROUGHVIDEO + GUIDE

## Meet your new project view

Project overview

Overview Tasks Progress

1. 01
**Show the change** Switch from a task list to the new progress view.

2. 02
**Explain the value** See which milestones need attention at a glance.

3. 03
**Make it usable** Leave the steps for trying the view in a real project.

A BETTER HANDOFF

## A feature announcement should show the feature.

Release notes tell people what changed. A focused demo helps them see the difference in the product—and a guide gives them a way to use it after the announcement has passed.

BEFORE

### A feature list and a rough take.

The useful moment is buried in setup, pauses, and an improvised explanation. People still need to work out where to click.

WITH POLYSH

### One clear story. Two useful formats.

A narrated demo explains the feature in context. A screenshot guide turns the same recording into something people can try.

THE WORKFLOW

## From a working feature to a clear launch story.

1. 01
  ### Record the moment that matters
Use a sample workspace. Show the previous workflow, the new feature, and the result without touring every other screen.

2. 02
  ### Give the story an edit
Review the script, remove detours, and use click zooms where the interface needs a closer look. Choose narration that fits the explanation.

3. 03
  ### Deliver the demo and the how-to
Export the video, review the generated guide, and share the format that fits your announcement or follow-up.

MADE FOR THE TASK

## The right tools for a clearer explanation.

### Lead with the useful bit

Review the narration before exporting, so the demo explains the benefit rather than reading out button labels.

GOOD TO KNOW

## A few practical questions.

About using Polysh for product demos.

**Can I start with a recording I already have?**

Yes. Upload an existing screen recording, then review its script and edit the demonstration in Polysh.

**Do I need to make a guide for every demo?**

No. You can produce a video, a guide, or both. A guide is most useful when the viewer needs to repeat the workflow.

**Can I change the narration without making a new take?**

You can edit the script and generate narration from the reviewed text. If the product interface changes, capture a fresh recording so the visuals match.
