FOR OPERATIONS TEAMS

# Get the process out of someone’s head.

Record a procedure as it happens, then turn the explanation into a guide with prerequisites, screenshots, and results to check. Keep a narrated version for the details that are easier to show.

A BETTER HANDOFF

## A process needs more than a list of clicks.

The person who knows the procedure also knows what to prepare, what to check, and when something looks wrong. Capture that explanation while you show the work, then review it as a readable reference.

BEFORE

### The procedure depends on a person.

The document omits context, screenshots drift out of date, and the next person has to ask what a correct result looks like.

WITH POLYSH

### The procedure has a path and a check.

A reviewed guide sets out what is needed, groups the actions into tasks, and states the expected result. The video shows the procedure in context.

THE WORKFLOW

## Document the work while you do the work.

1. 01
  ### Record a complete, safe example
Show the starting state and explain prerequisites. Include the check you make before calling the procedure complete.

2. 02
  ### Review it as a working document
Generate the guide, check the chosen screenshots, and edit the step text, expected results, and tips to match the process.

3. 03
  ### Share the approved reference
Invite someone to review or edit the guide when appropriate. Share the final guide or PDF with the people who carry out the procedure.

GOOD TO KNOW

## A few practical questions.

About using Polysh for sop documentation.

**Does Polysh approve or certify an SOP?**

No. Polysh creates editable documentation. Your process owner must review the steps, safety requirements, permissions, and expected results before the procedure is used.

**Can I edit the guide after generating it?**

Yes. You can edit the overview and step text, reorder or remove steps, and choose screenshots from the captured candidates.

**Does regenerating a guide preserve our edits?**

Regeneration replaces the guide for the selected language, including manual edits. Review the confirmation and keep any needed reference before regenerating.
