SCREEN RECORDING, WITH A NEXT STEP

Show the work.
Keep the knowledge.

Capture a workflow as you do it. Polysh turns your screen recording into the starting point for a clearer video, a useful guide, and fewer repeated explanations.

01

Capture your context

Choose a tab, window, or screen and show exactly what someone needs to see.

02

Explain as you go

Talk through the task with an optional microphone. The first take can be a rough one.

03

Keep creating

Move from recording to script, video, and guide in the same project.

ALREADY HAVE A RECORDING?

Start with what you have.

Upload an existing walkthrough and give it the same treatment: review the narration, shape the timeline, and create a guide people can follow.

  • Record a new workflow with the browser extension.
  • Bring an existing video into a new project.
  • Keep your source media intact as you edit.

THE WORKFLOW

Three steps to your next explanation.

  1. 01

    Choose what to show

Start a recording in your workspace, then select a screen, window, or tab in the browser’s capture picker.

  2. 02

    Walk through one task

Show the whole path to a useful result. Add microphone narration if it helps explain what is happening.

  3. 03

Give your take a little Polysh

Once the recording arrives in your project, review the script and choose the outputs you want to make.

KEEP GOING

Narrated videos

Turn the rough take into a demonstration people want to watch.

Polish the video

Step-by-step guides

Give the same workflow a readable, screenshot-based reference.

Make a guide

A FEW DETAILS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Can I start with an existing video?

Yes. Upload an existing recording to create a project, then review its script, edit the timeline, and make video or guide outputs.

Do I need to record my voice?

No. Microphone capture is optional. You can record the selected screen without microphone audio. Add microphone narration when you want to explain the workflow as you capture it.

How do I get the recorder?

The screen recorder is a browser extension used with your Polysh workspace. Your team provides the extension and workspace access when you get started.
