GETTING STARTED

Your first recording.
Your first clear explanation.

A practical starting point for invited teams. Capture one task, review the narration, then make the video or guide your audience needs.

FIRST PROJECT

A small task is a great start.

  1. 01

    Open the right workspace.

Use the link in your team invitation. If you need access or cannot create a project, ask your workspace administrator. Admins create projects; members can edit existing projects.

  2. 02

    Record or upload your task.

Choose the screen you want to capture in the browser prompt. Show one complete workflow, or start with an existing recording.

  3. 03

    Review the script.

Check names, button labels, and the order of actions. Make these edits before generating a voiceover or another language version.

  4. 04

Make the important parts easier to see.

Trim the detours and review the click zooms. Keep the controls readable and leave enough time to see the result.

  5. 05

    Choose the outputs.

Create a narrated video, a step-by-step guide, or both. Review the estimate before confirming the export.

  6. 06

    Review, then share.

Watch the exported video and check the guide screenshots. Choose the right audience and download settings before creating a share link.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Get back to the work.

Access or credits?

Ask your workspace administrator about invitations, organization permissions, and the available credit balance.

Understand credits

Narration sounds wrong?

Check the script first. Product names and control labels should match the recording before you generate the voice.

Review narration

A guide needs a correction?

Edit its wording, order, or selected screenshot. Review your changes before making the guide again.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

The answers that help you move on.

Why can’t I start a new project?

Project creation is an administrator action. If you are a member, you can edit existing projects; ask an administrator to create the project you need.

Why is a language unavailable for export?

That language needs its own narration script. Open the script to translate or review it before selecting the language in export.

What should I check if an export fails?

Read the project’s status and activity. A failed job releases its reserved credits. If the balance is too low to start, ask your workspace administrator.

What happens when I generate a guide again?

Regeneration replaces the guide edits for the selected languages, including edits from guest editors. Save important changes and review the confirmation before continuing.

How can I download a guide as a PDF?

Use Download PDF from the Guide tab. If the renderer is unavailable, use the workspace’s print-to-PDF option. Review sensitive screenshots before including them.

Why can’t someone open my share link?

Check whether the link was reset, has expired, or is restricted to specific email addresses. A restricted guest must use the email address you invited.
