Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between your organization and Polysh for using the Polysh website and workspace. Please read them before you record, upload, or share anything.
Last updated:
1. The agreement
Polysh is operated by Argo Solutions Infotech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("Polysh", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at polysh.io, the Polysh web app at app.polysh.io, the Polysh recorder for Chrome, and any related apps, APIs, and agent tools we provide (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization, and "you" means that organization. If your organization has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these Terms.
These Terms include, by reference, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and Data Processing Addendum.
The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use it.
2. Workspaces and accounts
The Service is organized into workspaces. A workspace belongs to the organization that created it. Workspace admins invite members, assign roles, manage projects and credits, and decide who can see what.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in method secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and your workspace.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
- Workspace admins are responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.
During early access, workspaces are invitation-only. We may decline or withdraw an invitation at our discretion.
3. Early access
Polysh is in early access. Features may change, be limited, or be removed while we finish the product. Features labelled "early access" or "beta", including Polysh for agents and the desktop app, are provided for evaluation and may be less reliable than the rest of the Service.
Early-access workspaces currently use the Service at no charge. We'll give you reasonable notice, at least 30 days, before we introduce paid plans or start charging your workspace, and we won't charge you without your agreement.
4. Credits, fees, and taxes
Processing in Polysh is measured in credits that belong to your workspace. The Service shows a credit estimate before each job. When you start a job, the estimated credits are reserved; they're charged when the job succeeds and released if it fails or you cancel it. Editing a script, trimming, and previewing voices don't use credits.
When paid plans or credit packs are available:
- Prices, plan limits, and billing periods are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners. We don't store full card details.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes. Applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India, are added where required, and you're responsible for any taxes other than those on our income.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred outside your workspace, and may expire as stated when you buy them.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
We may suspend processing for a workspace with overdue fees after giving notice.
5. Your content
"Your Content" means everything you or your workspace members add to the Service or create with it: recordings, audio, click and cursor data, transcripts, scripts, team word lists, voices you choose, guides, screenshots, exports, and share settings.
You own Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and modify Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service for you, including sending it to the subprocessors that perform each step. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies in backups that expire on their normal schedule.
No training on your content. We don't use Your Content to train AI models, and we don't let our AI providers do so.
Polysh keeps your original upload unchanged. Edits, translations, and new voiceovers are stored separately and applied when you export.
You're responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, and share it, including consent from anyone whose voice, face, name, or personal data appears in it, and that it doesn't break the law or our Acceptable Use Policy. Recordings often capture real screens, so review them for passwords, customer data, and other sensitive information before you upload or share.
6. AI-generated output
Polysh uses AI to transcribe recordings, rewrite scripts, translate, generate synthetic voiceovers, plan guide steps, and flag screenshots that may contain private data. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and similar inputs may give different results.
- Review every script, translation, voiceover, caption, and guide before you publish it. You decide what is voiced and shared.
- Private-data flags in guides help you, but they aren't guaranteed to find every sensitive item.
- Voices in Polysh are synthetic voices from our providers. You may not use the Service to imitate a real person's voice without their permission.
- Subject to these Terms and our providers' terms, you own the output generated for your workspace and may use it commercially.
7. Share links
You control who can open a share link. Restricted links require a one-time code sent to an invited email address. Links set to "anyone with the link" can be opened, and forwarded, by anyone who has the address. You're responsible for the share settings you choose and for the people you invite. Resetting a link stops the old address working.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, impersonate people, upload malicious code, or attack, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service. Don't resell the Service or use it to build a competing product without our written permission.
9. Our service and feedback
We and our licensors own the Service, including the software, design, models we build, and the Polysh name and logo. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your organization's internal business purposes during your subscription or early-access period. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
Free browser tools on polysh.io run in your browser, and files you open in them stay on your device unless a tool says otherwise.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers listed on our Subprocessors page, and it may let you connect other services, such as your identity provider for SSO. Your use of a third-party service you connect is governed by that service's own terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.
11. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public information that it receives through the Service with reasonable care, use it only to perform under these Terms, and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound by similar obligations, or where the law requires. Your Content is your confidential information.
12. Privacy and data processing
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. When we process personal data in Your Content on your behalf, we act as your processor under our Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and a workspace admin can ask us to close the workspace by writing to [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if we're required to by law. We may also end early access or discontinue the Service with at least 30 days' notice.
After termination, your right to use the Service ends. For 30 days you can ask us for an export of Your Content. After that we delete Your Content from active systems, and backups expire on their normal schedule. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law, survive.
14. Disclaimers
We'll provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, the Service, including early-access features and AI output, is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, even if told such damages were possible.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000.
These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, or to your payment obligations and your indemnity obligations.
16. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us, our affiliates, and our personnel against claims, losses, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting formal proceedings, each party will try in good faith to resolve a dispute by writing to the other and allowing 30 days for a response. The courts at Koch Bihar, West Bengal, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify workspace admins by email or in the app at least 15 days before the change takes effect, unless the change is required sooner by law. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
19. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the documents they reference are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as outages of internet or cloud providers, natural disasters, or government action.
- Severability and waiver. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address of your workspace admins. Send notices to us at [email protected].
- Trademarks. "Polysh" and the Polysh logo are trademarks of Argo Solutions Infotech Private Limited. Other names belong to their owners.
20. Contact and grievances
Questions about these Terms, and complaints under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, can be sent to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
