SHARING / PRACTICAL GUIDE

Share a tutorial with the right access.

A polished explanation is ready when the right people can open the right version. Choose the audience, check downloads, and test the link before sending it.

Choose the result you want to send.

Pick the finished video export or the reviewed guide. A project can hold several versions, so watch or read the exact result you intend to share before creating its link.

A video link serves the export it was created for. Re-exporting does not replace that file behind the same link. A guide link serves the current guide for that language, including later reviewed edits.

Choose who should be able to open it.

Use an anyone-with-the-link setting for material you intend people to pass around. Use restricted access when only invited addresses should view the explanation.

A restricted guest verifies the invited email address with a code. Test with the audience’s situation in mind: a teammate signed into your organization is not the same as an external guest opening the link.

Review the details around the explanation.

  • Check the recording and screenshots for information that should not leave the team.
  • Decide whether the guest may download the output.
  • Check any expiry or access settings on the link.
  • Make sure the reader has the permissions needed to do the task in their own software.

Access controls do not replace reviewing the content. The same recording can reveal more context than the procedure needs, so choose the output carefully.
